Berry Boats is looking to hire a small engine mechanic.

Berry Boats is a full-service Suzuki, Stihl, Cub Cadet dealership specializing in boat repair and storage, as well as working on power equipment ranging from snowmachines, atv’s, lawn and garden to chainsaws. Essential Duties:

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on lawn/garden equipment, atv’s, chainsaws.
• Participates in ongoing Dealer Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Accounts for all time and for all material used in performing assigned.

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience as a small engine technician (or marine technician)
• Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Service Bulletin procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical and electrical of lawn and garden equipment.
• Ability to use basic computer functions.
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license is an asset.
